Youth Focus: Banking on Change II (BoC II)
Through partnership with CARE International in Uganda, KDFA implemented BoC II to promote financial literacy, linkage banking, and entrepreneurship among youth.
Implemented in 11 sub-counties of Kabarole District
268 youth-led VSLA groups formed and strengthened
6,700 members, with 77% aged 14β24 years
Financial literacy, employability skills, enterprise development, and linkage banking delivered
This programme significantly improved youth saving culture, access to finance, and economic opportunities.
