The BoC II project focused on youth financial empowerment through savings, entrepreneurship, and linkage banking.

What We Did
KDFA implemented the project in 11 sub-counties, forming and strengthening youth-led VSLA groups and linking mature groups to formal financial institutions.

Key Results and Impact

• 268 VSLA groups formed with 6,700 members

• 77% of members were youth aged 14–24 years

• 144 VSLA groups linked to formal banking services

• Improved youth skills in financial literacy, enterprise development, and employability
